Objectives

The Department of Sports Management aims to train contemporary managers who are experts in their fields, follow current developments, reflect this in their field practices, and embrace universal values. It carries out a curriculum to train sports scientists, sports managers and recreation leaders. The program includes compulsory courses on general sports knowledge, management, business, marketing, management and general culture. In addition to compulsory courses, elective courses that students can choose according to their own preferences add a versatile feature to the program. Thus, students graduating from the Department of Sports Management will be able to identify physical education and sports problems and produce solutions through interdisciplinary studies, both individually and in groups. Students graduating from this department can take a pedagogical formation course and become physical education and sports teachers, sports managers in private and public organizations, sports experts in the Ministry of Youth and Sports, and coaches in sports clubs with their coaching certificates.
